Cove Rangers Football Club is a senior Scottish football club currently playing in the Scottish Championship. They are based in the Cove Bay area of Aberdeen.
The club celebrated their centenary in 2022 and as Greaves Sports were their official retail partner I was asked to design a new club crest to commemorate the milestone achievement in the club’s history. The logo was adapted from their original crest and I removed the heavy black stroke fill, changed all the colours to a simulated gold and added text for '100 Years', 'Centenary' and '1922-2022'.
The new crest featured on the 22/23 season's full kit (Home, Away, Goalkeeper and Special Edition shirts), training wear, coach wear and all club merchandise and marketing media.
Shown are the original mockups for the three main shirts; Home, Away and Third. A goalkeeper shirt and special edition shirt were also designed for the 22/23 season.
